As a lead technical services firm in the construction, environmental and engineering industries, VERTEX also routinely monitors the economy and our clients’ industries to best position our services in order to meet the anticipated market demand. With falling unemployment and oil prices, not to mention record corporate profits and rising tax revenues, 2015 is poised to be a banner year in the construction industry – private markets will continue to grow and public markets will realize a mild rebound after several years of flat or negative gains. While labor prices will escalate, material prices should be held somewhat in check due to the slide in petroleum prices.
