VERTEX Office Locations VERTEX Office Locations

Massachusetts

The VERTEX Massachusetts offices are three of the largest in our network. The Weymouth location opened its doors in 1995 and serves as VERTEX’s world headquarters. The Boston office opened in late 2009 out of the need to be closer to some of our larger, longer-term environmental, construction, and engineering design projects. VERTEX acquired Compass Project Management LLC, in early 2019. Compass is conveniently located in Norwood, MA. The three offices in Massachusetts house over 150 of VERTEX’s 500+ employees nationwide.

Although we are a global organization working in several locations worldwide, our local experts are involved in every Massachusetts project. Our local offices in Weymouth, Boston, and Norwood Massachusetts have staff experienced in various markets, as demonstrated in some of our example projects. If you would like to discuss any of the work or services that VERTEX provides, contact us today to discuss your needs.

Rely on our owner’s project manager

VERTEX’s goal is to use our extensive experience and knowledge to allow you to focus on your core business objectives and avoid the pitfalls of project management during construction. The role of our owner’s representative is to advocate on your behalf during all phases of a construction project. Our qualified owner’s project managers have years of experience performing this role for various well-established clients in the construction industry.

Your owner’s representative guides you through the process

You can count on the professional assigned to your project to guide you through its entirety one step at a time, both before and during the construction process.

The pre-construction phase

During the pre-construction phase, the owner’s project manager works with you to develop the project budget and scope of work. The owner’s representative will also assist you with contractor selection by developing the request for proposal (RFP) and leading the interview process. In addition, the professional assigned to you will provide value engineering services to help maximize the project budget and help you make the best choices with the least expenses.

The construction phase

Once construction is underway, your owner’s project manager’s main focus moves to managing the contract administration process. During this process, the owner’s representative will ensure that all parties are meeting the necessary obligations when it comes to safety, quality, scheduling, and contract compliance. By serving as the single point of contact between you and the contractors, your owner’s representative will help to resolve issues quickly and keep your project on track.

Count on the owner’s project manager to save you money

The main responsibility of the owner’s representative is to oversee your project and ensure that it stays on schedule and within budget. Because we are not tied to any one contractor, we can make impartial decisions that save money without compromising on quality. We have the skills and experience necessary to identify potential problems early on and prevent them from becoming costly delays.

Let us get you the best value for your money

The role of the Owner’s representative is to provide expert-level procurement assistance and negotiation services. Our team has years of experience negotiating contracts and procuring materials and labor. All in all, your owner’s project manager provides a level of professionalism and expertise that is invaluable during a construction project.

Leave the RFP to us

Your owner’s representative knows that the Request for Proposal (RFP) process is essential for ensuring that your project is completed on time and within budget. Well-drafted RFPs help to identify potential vendors and contractors and ensure that all necessary materials and services are procured in a timely manner.

During the RFP process, the owner’s project manager will take care to clearly define the scope of work and the schedule of milestones. They will also make sure to include information about any special requirements or preferences. An RFP that was carefully crafted by one of VERTEX’s experienced owner’s representatives will lay the groundwork for a fully successful project.
