VERTEX provides General Contracting services for commercial interior projects spanning a wide range of client types.  We specialize in office, retail, medical, restaurant, and hospitality construction. VERTEX can construct projects with state of the art, high-end finishes as well as more moderate remodel designs. We are just as comfortable working for local business owners as we are for national tenants with strict brand specifications.

Pre-Construction Services

Planning is crucial to the success of any build and at VERTEX, our pre-construction services are taken very seriously.  From conceptual estimating to material review, VERTEX can help you understand if a project is financially feasible and/or provide value engineering options to get your project within budget. Throughout pre-construction phase, we aim to instill confidence that the project is well thought-out.

General Contracting

The VERTEX name brings with it decades of construction experience and a reputation for top-quality construction, safe work sites, and getting projects done on time and on budget. Not only do we understand the importance of your time and budget, but we also understand that exceeding expectations is why our clients return. Our office network allows us to focus on projects nationwide, both small and large.

Design Build

There are not many in the industry that offer true one-stop design build services. Many who claim to have design build services are not strong in all areas. VERTEX offers strong and consistent architectural services, engineering and construction management that are integrated within one dedicated team will improve quality and efficiency.

Bob Bergeson

Bob Bergeson

Bob Bergeson, Executive Vice President of Construction Contracting, Tenant Improvement (TI) and Restoration, has been working in construction and management for over a decade. At VERTEX, his expertise has quickly expanded from construction project management to include the management of his division, General Construction; projects consisting of TI and Restoration. Mr. Bergeson’s work ethic and skills have brought excellent results in his work. He has been able to successfully manage hundreds of TI jobs on time and within budget over the years.

Division Manager

Scott Osness

Scott Osness

Mr. Osness has 15 years experience in the commercial construction industry focusing in tenant improvement for office, retail, and medical industries. He started his career as a superintendent and worked his way up to a Division Manager with VERTEX. Throughout his career, Scott has been involved in a multitude of commercial projects ranging from small finishes to fully occupied remodels and new build outs. He specializes in ensuring that projects are completed on time/on budget and that our clients expectations’ are met from the start of the project until the punch list is completed.

Senior Project Manager, Tenant Improvement

Benjamin Fay

Benjamin Fay

Benjamin Fay is a Senior Project Manager for the Tenant Improvement Division of VERTEX. He has 5 years of superintendent experience as a team leader, estimator, construction manager and contract administrator. Specific responsibilities include: coordinating all site construction activities and supervising all field personnel as required to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget. This includes maintaining the highest quality, supervising all trade and field personnel, while administering good construction safety practices with all on-site activities. Since he started at VERTEX in August of 2012, Mr. Fay has completed many large tenant Improvement projects in the Denver metro area. Prior to working for VERTEX, Mr. Fay was a Superintendent for a mid-sized general contractor in the Midwest working mostly on large public projects. He earned his B.S. in construction management from the University of Northern Iowa in 2008.

Senior Project Manager

James Boudreau

James Boudreau has thirty-five years experience in the construction industry, performing construction management, general contracting and site maintenance. Experienced in surveying properties to assess damages, establishing detailed work plans, and managing repairs and maintenance. Duties include consulting with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to review scope of work, overseeing costs, repairs and renovations, as well as on-site supervision of projects. Excellent interpersonal skills, dependable with a strong work ethic and a professional attitude.
