VERTEX’s CEO Bill McConnell Featured in Civil + Structural Engineer Magazine

September 13, 2019

As VERTEX’s CEO, Bill McConnell, states, “Education has no finish line.” Bill has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Maine, a J.D. degree from the University of Denver, an M.S. degree from Columbia University, and he is working towards his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado. He also completed a part-time three-year business program at MIT.

With Bill leading by example, it’s no wonder VERTEX places such an emphasis on continuous learning. It’s ingrained in our culture and practiced at varying levels throughout the company. Our unique Lifetime of Learning Program promotes professional development through unique partnerships with leading universities like the University of Colorado. This continuing education strategy keeps us ahead of the curve on industry trends and technological developments which adds value to our clients and our employees.
