Planning (Scope of Work & Budget)
Through the use of VERTEX’s proprietary Enterprise Management System (EMT) our Project Managers are able to set controls and communicate seamlessly with our support teams to develop and disseminate a clearly defined scope of work and client-approved budget structure. VERTEX’s EMT, known as ‘One VERTEX’, provides our clients with expeditious communication, even during large volume CAT events.
Our professionals and 25+ offices located around the world have successfully completed more than 50,000 projects to date. Our projects cover numerous disciplines including Forensic, Engineering, Construction, and Environmental services. Our ‘Workflow’ system allows Project Managers to visualize the location and availability of our experts as we move from project to project. By doing so, we make sure that we are assigning the best technical fit in a location that offers the most expedient response at the most effective price point. The ‘Workflow’ system also sets measurable, real-time deadlines and maintains a streamlined system of communication for the project team.

Lifetime of Learning
VERTEX’s philosophy towards personal and professional development is founded in supporting the pursuit of continuous, lifelong learning. To support this core value, we have developed an in-house learning platform, VERTEX University, which includes over 160 courses and several nanodegrees, including a formal project management training curriculum. This training combines VERTEX’s strengths and skill-sets that have been refined over 25 years of practical experience with our Core Values and sets us apart from our competitors.
We have recently expanded our learning platform though a partnership with the University of Colorado Denver, to provide an opportunity for our employee-owners to obtain graduate degrees through a unique industry-academia partnership. VERTEX University’s project management program serves as the introductory course for our employees enrolling in University of Colorado Denver programs. Through this continuous learning environment, our employee-owners stay ahead of the curve on both technical and management approaches.
