Jessica Mendoza

Jessica Mendoza has a Bachelor of Science degree with a Civil Engineering specialty, along with a Minor in Business and Economics from Colorado School of Mines. She is currently a Civil Engineer Project Manager at VERTEX. Ms. Mendoza has been very versatile throughout her career achieving many skill sets. She has provided litigation support for Civil and Structural Engineering as well as Building Envelope matters across Colorado and surrounding states for single family, multi-family and small commercial buildings. She has analyzed construction defects as a Forensic Engineer by observing intrusive testing, conducted and analyzed relative level surveys and documented conditions within and around structures. Ms. Mendoza has also developed repair plans for distressed structures as well as assisted in the preparation of written expert reports. In addition, Ms. Mendoza has Structural Engineering experience in the design of residential homes which includes the design and field observations of footings/pier foundations, structural floors, structural patios and timber frame. She has provided comprehensive Civil Engineering land development services for many senior living facilities, commercial buildings, and schools. She possesses a strong strength in project management, client relationships, construction document preparation and technical reports. Ms. Mendoza’s experience in land development includes but not limited to site planning, utility design, detention and water quality design, and grading design.
