Mr. Clews is a seasoned expert in Digital Forensics and eDiscovery, with over 20 years of experience delivering expert advice and innovative solutions to clients and counsel in managing electronically stored information (ESI). He specializes in the preservation and investigation of digital evidence, interrogation of complex datasets, and the execution of large-scale electronic discovery engagements.

His expertise spans the full lifecycle of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), from information governance and discovery readiness to the preservation, processing, and production of data. He is known for developing defensible, custom workflows tailored to emerging technologies and non-standard data sources.

Mr. Clews has led hundreds of engagements, from single-device forensic investigations to multi-jurisdictional class action matters involving hundreds of custodians. He regularly advises clients facing regulatory scrutiny from agencies including the SEC, DOJ, CFPB, EPA, OIG, FINRA, FTC, and various Attorneys General.

His project portfolio includes investigations into illegal cartels, intellectual property theft, accounting irregularities, securities class actions, Qui Tam suits, and other complex fraud matters.
