Mark Gobitas is a licensed General Contractor, experienced in construction management and claims investigations. He has over 20 years of construction experience and is responsible for providing Project Management services for VERTEX in the Southeast Region. His roles and responsibilities include managing surety files, claims investigations, completion contracting, construction management, financial analysis, field investigation activities, schedule reviews, and composition of complex technical reports. Mr. Gobitas is also a licensed Commercial Building Inspector and Plans Examiner which helps facilitate code compliance, both when it comes to the plans and specifications and to the construction process. He also has a unique background in both Construction Quality Assurance and Construction Safety. Mr. Gobitas has worked on a wide variety of construction project types, including Federal, Aviation, Military, High-rise, and Heavy Civil Infrastructure, in both traditional and design-build delivery methods.
