Chris Cook has more than 15 years experience working in the environmental consulting field in various states across the country, with expertise primarily focused on New Jersey and New York. Mr. Cook’s experience includes extensive work in due diligence including Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Phase II Limited Subsurface Investigations, New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) Preliminary Assessments (PAs), compliance audits, desktop reviews, and peer reviews. In addition, Mr. Cook has performed and completed site investigations and remedial investigations per strict United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) and NJDEP guidelines. Mr. Cook has also completed numerous water intrusion assessments, asbestos-containing material (ACM) assessments, and environmental insurance audits.
As Senior Project Manager, Mr. Cook offers both organizational and technical support to the strategic environmental management team at VERTEX. Specific duties include: conducting site visitations and environmental investigations, staff oversight, project oversight, technical writing, report preparation, and client consultation. Organizational responsibilities include: scheduling, subcontractor management, and subcontractor oversight.
