Kelly Bishop is responsible for facilitating environmental projects throughout the Southeast. As a former regulator for the State of Florida and Hillsborough County, Ms. Bishop has managed a wide variety of projects involving multi-media permitting and compliance including water resources, state lands, industrial and wastewater, air, and waste.  Projects have been executed under federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and met all corporate safety needs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.

Ms. Bishop’s experience related to environmental management includes private, industrial, Department of Defense and Energy (DOD & DOE), State (FDEP and FDOT) and EPA projects. As a private consultant, she has assisted many clients in meeting their environmental compliance and regulatory requirements by generating policy and training to address potential hazards.

Her expertise includes partnering with the State and other regulatory agencies to facilitate clear communication and to expedite project efforts; preparation and implementation of planning documents; formulation of technical plans and costing; implementing assessment and remedy selection processes; evaluating natural attenuation remedies and effectiveness; and remediation system design and  construction management oversight, and O&M.

Ms. Bishop has a strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations and policies. Her contract management experience includes the successful bidding, negotiation, and execution of large-scale projects; regulatory coordination, reporting, and notification; coordination with private and public legal entities; oversight of construction activities at impacted sites; community outreach, and the application of restrictive covenants and active use limitations.
