Matthew Ryan leads Vertex’s Data-Driven Disputes and Analytics practice. With nearly two decades of experience in litigation support, disputes, and forensic consulting, he advises clients and counsel on complex, data-intensive matters, primarily in the healthcare industry. Matt has led multidisciplinary teams across hundreds of disputes, applying sophisticated analytics, practical judgment, and expert insight to help clients evaluate claims, quantify exposure, and communicate well-supported conclusions.
Matt has extensive experience advising healthcare organizations and their legal counsel on disputes involving the pricing, payment, and adjudication of healthcare services and benefits, frequently providing expert testimony on such issues. His matters typically involve the analysis of large volumes of electronic claims, billing data, and other operational and financial information to assess various claims-processing issues and develop sophisticated damages and financial analyses.
