VERTEX worked on the construction of a new 15,000 SF retail building in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The work performed as part of this 2.5-acre site development included: the completion of environmental due diligence, site layout design, and construction oversight management for the new building. Also included in the scope of work were the associated exterior site improvements.
There were many unique design elements at the site including a new pond that is partially infiltration and partially release controlled due to lack of utilities in the area. Additionally, VERTEX relocated an existing Denver water line, relocated an existing irrigation ditch, and completed a complex grading plan restricted by existing conditions.
