VERTEX provided environmental consulting and construction support services to a developer client for the re-development of a site located in Rhode Island. The soil at the property consisted of urban fill that contained elevated levels of contaminants typically found in urban areas. In order to facilitate the redevelopment of the property, VERTEX performed site assessment, delineation surveys, soil characterization, remedial design, environmental monitoring, and prepared regulatory submittals for site closure activities.
On behalf of the developer, VERTEX presented the environmental information and communicated with financial institutions and prospective purchasers to aid in the initial financing of the project and the ultimate sale of the property.
