VERTEX has been retained to provide a new roadway in the City of Westminster new Downtown District. VERTEX will provide preliminary and final design for this locally funded project for the construction of new roadway and sidewalks.
Work included new asphalt pavement, new sidewalks, retaining wall in select areas, new curb and gutter, new drainage system, new sanitary sewer, waterline, and fire hydrants. Existing pedestrian ramps were measured to identify their existing longitudinal and horizontal cross slope to determine if they needed to be replaced. The design of new ADA ramps conformed to the City of Westminster standards.
