Project Manager II, Environmental Insurance

Mrs. Virgilio’s role as a Project Manager at VERTEX includes field, claim investigation, claims management, and loss control operations across the United States. Responsibilities in the field relate to Cause and Origin and Investigations, Petroleum and Mold remediation oversight, and Third-party Impact Subsurface Investigations. Claim Investigation services include information gathering and detailed reviews of claim and regulatory related documentation to determine the cause, origin, and timing of losses. Claims management responsibilities for projects include determining the reasonableness of scopes and the associated costs on projects to achieve regulatory closure, negotiating directly with consultants on behalf of clients, report writing, tracking remedial progress towards closure, and coordination with contractors/consultants. Mrs. Virgilio has completed Phase I Environmental Assessments at commercial facilities, radon sampling at residential properties, and portfolio and individual environmental underwriting review assessments for residential, manufacturing, and commercial facilities.
