Mr. DuCarme has over forty years of professional experience, the last thirty-five of which have involved consulting on damages assessments, forensic accounting, financial analysis and investigatory work. His consulting experience includes developing affirmative damage claims or rebutting claims prepared by others. He has assessed economic losses and valuation issues on disputed construction projects; disputed contracts, leases, warranties and representations; contract terminations; product failures; catastrophic incidents; intellectual property disputes; insurance matters; partnership disputes; eminent domain proceedings; business interruption; environmental disputes; and fraud investigations, among others. Amounts in dispute have exceeded $100 million.

Mr. DuCarme has performed his consulting work in many of industries including construction, chemicals, manufacturing, coal, gas, electrical generation, environmental, glass, automotive parts, building materials, wood products, medical products, food products, and steel, among others.

Mr. DuCarme’s construction experience has included stadiums, power plants, steel facilities, manufacturing plants, pharmaceutical plants, hospitals, hotels, courthouses, commercial and residential buildings, elevated rail lines, coke ovens, schools, wastewater treatment plants, gas/compression plants, military buildings, and others. On these projects, Mr. DuCarme has developed and or rebutted requests for equitable adjustments and or claims, among other work.

He has provided consulting assistance to both publicly held and privately held companies, universities, government entities, sureties, and law firms.

He has provided expert testimony in arbitration and in state and federal court matters.

For more than a decade, Mr. DuCarme was a Guest Lecturer at Grove City College and taught in forensic accounting, damages, and business investigations.
