Gregory Steen

Vice President, Forensics

Mr. Steen serves as Vice President at VERTEX. As a Vice President, he is responsible for providing account management, staff oversight, and claims management services to insurance clients, specializing in No. 2 fuel oil-related matters. Projects involve consulting insurance clients in regard to claim investigation, cause and origins, remedial investigations, reporting, cost negotiation and regulatory closure negotiation. This claims support work has allowed Mr. Steen to apply his engineering background in support of cost-saving solutions to the insurance industry.

Mr. Steen has over 15 years of experience as a technician associated with commercial/residential oil-burning equipment, air conditioning, and ventilation. He has provided consulting services related to construction, engineering, and environmental claims using his field and engineering experience. His areas of expertise include engineering investigations, facility inspections, and project management, including significant knowledge and experience with oil-burning code compliance and UST/AST compliance.
