Roy is a project management professional with 26 years of experience in commercial building, oil and gas, power, nuclear, and civil sectors. Specific international project assignments include ConocoPhillips APLNG Project, Woodside’s Pluto LNG Project, and Keppel Verolme Shipyard (Holland). A proven manager of large, cross-functional teams with specialist expertise in project management, schedule, and commercial management. He acted as delay expert on complex offshore projects in Europe following a successful domestic career working with major EPC Contractors and Clients, including; Bechtel, Lockheed Martin, and Westinghouse in the United States.
Roy developed a strong background in project management and managing teams to complete projects within budget and on schedule. Managed teams of engineers, coordinated multiple craft disciplines and operations personnel. Projects included program development, cost estimates, equipment design and construction, safety documentation, procedure development, personnel qualifications and training, operation dry runs, and reviews.
He worked as a Senior Project Scheduler using Primavera P3/P6 and Microsoft Project scheduling software. Developed Baseline schedules and tracked progress working directly with contractors and subcontractors. Provided expert schedule analysis and wrote monthly narratives documenting the project progress. Roy documented schedule delays and impacts in the schedule for claim recovery.
