Mr. Hambrook has over thirteen years of experience in civil / structural engineering design and forensic investigations. Elliott has a strong background in commercial building enclosure systems and has completed dozens of condition assessments, forensic evaluations, and designs for new construction, restoration, and repair projects. He has also performed construction administration services including bid review and award recommendations, preconstruction meetings, submittal and shop drawing review, construction progress and coordination meetings, periodic on-site observations and reporting, and project closeout.
Elliott has performed evaluation and design services including composing technical reports and communications, drafting field sketches and plan information into AutoCAD, conducting peer reviews of building enclosure systems, preparing construction documents suitable for public bids, and performing building enclosure commissioning (BECx) services. He has project management experience and is a licensed professional engineer in Connecticut.
Elliott has experience with the design and forensic evaluations of wood, concrete, stone, structural and non-structural masonry systems, steel and other metals, fenestration systems, flashings, coatings, and historic finishes. Elliott has an expertise with residential and commercial roofing and waterproofing systems and has knowledge of state and local building code requirements as they relate to the repair and rehabilitation of damaged structures and enclosure systems.
