Our client, was responsible for upgrading the Statue of Liberty’s technological and electrical systems, which made the historic structure more fire-resistant and increased safety for visitors. A fire-proof staircase was constructed, as well as elevators, additional exits, and bathrooms. The $27 million upgrades made this national monument “code-compliant” according to new safety regulations.
