The New York University (NYU) Langone Medical Center is undertaking a major campus expansion. Collectively, the Medical Center owns and leases over 4 million sq. ft. in New York City, with 2.5 million sq. ft. on the main campus. As part of a “bio-medical corridor,” extending from 23rd Street to 34th Street along Manhattan’s East River Drive, NYU Langone Medical Center is extremely prominent. With over 50 centers, 30 academic departments, and over 376,000 sq. ft. of research laboratories, NYU Langone School of Medicine continues to produce world-class groundbreaking discoveries, several of which have led to Nobel prizes.
