Hendrick Health needed to undertake a multi-phase expansion across its Abilene campuses to accommodate growing regional demand for care, requiring coordinated planning for multiple service lines and significant upgrades to clinical spaces serving a 24-county region.
The project scope is a $250M, 215,000 SF campus-wide expansion that includes renovation and expansion of GI/endoscopy, the cancer center, main surgery, heart hospital, ICU, and emergency room. The work includes owner’s representation and medical equipment planning services to support planning, coordination, and execution across all phases.
The project is advancing in alignment with Hendrick Health’s long-term strategic goals, enabling phased expansion of critical service lines while ensuring coordinated planning, adherence to scope, and support for the system’s growing regional patient population.
