NEW YORK, April 8, 2026 – The Vertex Companies, LLC (“VERTEX”), a global professional services firm delivering expert, forensic, construction project advisory, and management and regulatory consulting services, announced today the completion of an acqui-hire deal with SCCS Group, an SBE-Certified woman-owned business dedicated to community-based development. Through the agreement, SCCS Group founder Stephanie Cesario and her team have become VERTEX employees.

SCCS Group employees have backgrounds in professional engineering, structural engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering, architecture, construction management, and real estate development, with registered AIA, OSHA, WELL, and USGBC LEED accredited professionals. The team has supported ground-breaking projects, including LaFenix at 1950 Mission Street, Rauschenberg Captiva, and The Peninsula Redevelopment.
