Johann Marais is a Construction Consultant in the surety department at Vertex with more than 10 years of experience in project management, operations, manufacturing, and commercial construction. His background includes managing complex retail build-outs, renovation programs, and national rollouts for prominent brands, with individual project values reaching $4.5 million. Throughout his career, Johann has coordinated multidisciplinary teams, managed budgets and schedules, supported field operations, and worked closely with owners, contractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
