Our VERTEX Global Health & Safety Day 2023 events, which have taken place so far have all been fantastic with great discussions and sharing of H&S information to benefit colleagues on- and off-the-job. We want to remind you that this year, we are taking our concern for H&S to the next level and doing something for the health of our communities around us where we work, live and play.
As you have heard, as part of our theme of Emergency Preparedness and Response, we’re partnering with the American Red Cross to build awareness and collect pledges for our Virtual Blood Drive using the BloodLink below. Additionally, for those in the Greater Boston Area, we will conduct a blood drive in Weymouth, MA office in late September.
The Red Cross needs to collect 15,000 blood donations every day to have enough blood to help patients in 2,700 hospitals and transfusion centers across just the USA. That’s a lot of patients in need, but all of us, coming together, can help ensure patients receive life-saving blood.
We’re asking you to roll up your sleeves!

- Watch for signup information for VERTEX’s blood drive, happening in late September in Weymouth.
