This recognition highlights the project’s innovative design and construction, which was submitted by the construction partners, Saunders Construction and Baker Construction. “One River North is a beacon of contemporary design and engineering, inspired by the geological and ecological systems of Colorado. The 343,000-square-foot luxury apartment building rises 16 stories above ground and offers 187 residential units, 10% of which are designated as affordable housing. Notably, it features a stunning open-air canyon-like design, with cascading waters and a trail-like walkway adorned with trees and boulders, blending urban living with the beauty of nature.“
VERTEX was proud to provide Lender’s Construction Monitoring Services for this project. The tower includes a 4-level hiking trail that leads residents to a 6,813-square-foot rooftop garden, pool, spa, and terrace. Inside, residents enjoy floor-to-ceiling windows, private open-air terraces, a fitness center with an outdoor yoga deck, meeting rooms, and a pet spa. The building’s biophilic design creates a seamless connection between urban architecture and the natural environment, with a central foliage-covered passageway featuring water elements reminiscent of Colorado’s mountainous terrain.
As the lender’s representative, VERTEX’s responsibilities included reviewing contractor payment applications, monitoring construction progress, ensuring adherence to the project schedule and budget, assessing quality of workmanship, overseeing permitting, and conducting overall risk analysis.
