VERTEX’s newest family member, Lockwood, Kessler & Bartlett, Inc. (LKB), is giving back to the VA Medical Center Hospital. We are excited to support this wonderful medical center that is honoring America’s Veterans with quality health care services. The Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center is always improving the health of the men and women who have proudly served our nation. We consider it our privilege to support this medical center as they serve the health care needs of our Veterans living in the Long Island area of New York.
If you’re interested in getting involved in Operation Enduring Care, donations are being collected now through 4/1/2021. Send or drop off to Lockwood, Kessler & Bartlett, Inc., One Aerial Way, Syosset, NY 11791. If you are in the area, a dropbox will be available at the front entrance between the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Friday. Suggested items include travel sizes of soap, shampoo, toothbrush/paste, deodorant, brushes, razors, underwear, and socks.
Donations will go to the Veterans that are inpatients at the VA Medical Center Hospital, patients at Building 64, the Substance Abuse Recovery Program, and residents of the Community Living Centers, which house those in Hospice. The Beacon House, located on the VA grounds, supports and runs the on campus homeless shelter, the only VA homeless shelter in Northport, NY.
