Request for Developer RFQ for the Foundry at 101 Rogers St., Cambridge, MA

July 20, 2015

The Cambridge Redevelopment Authority (CRA), in collaboration with the City of Cambridge (City), is issuing a developer Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the Foundry at 101 Rogers Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts. 

Through a two-step qualifications and proposal process, the CRA seeks to designate a Development Entity with exceptional experience and capability to transform Kendall Square’s vacant Foundry into a thriving, innovative center that offers a collaborative environment with a mix of cultural, arts, educational, manufacturing, and commercial uses. 

This selection process will lead to the designation of a Development Entity responsible for revitalizing and operating the 53,000 square foot building.  The City will retain ownership of the building, and the development team will have a long-term lease with the CRA.
