On May 1, 2025, The Vertex Companies, LLC and Connell Foley LLP are teaming up to host the New Jersey Construction Outlook 2025: Building Beyond, a live event focused on the evolving construction landscape in New Jersey and the New York Metropolitan area.
This event will bring together industry leaders to share insights on market conditions, regulatory developments, and the legal and technical challenges impacting construction projects today. The program will conclude with a cocktail reception and networking opportunity for attendees.
Tailored for contractors, developers, owners, architects, and legal professionals, the event will include presentations from VERTEX and Connell Foley leadership, along with guest speaker Jerry T. Keenan, President of the New Jersey Alliance for Action.

William McConnell and Jeffrey Katz (Senior Managing Director at VERTEX) will join Connell Foley’s Michael X. McBride and Brendan Judge for a panel discussion on construction delays, risk management, and recent case law impacting projects in the region.
The New Jersey Construction Outlook 2025 has been submitted for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit in New Jersey (with reciprocity in New York) and has also been submitted for AIA accreditation.
