VERTEX Presenting at the 2023 PLRB Claims Conference

March 6, 2023

We are excited to announce that our team will be attending the PLRB Claims Conference in March 2023! Our attendees, Bill Dery, John Krietz, Kevin Maxwell, and Misael Roja, are looking forward to networking with other industry professionals and participating in the various educational sessions offered. Be sure to visit them at booth #901.

One session in particular that we are proud to be a part of is “Code Upgrades vs. Pre-Existing Conditions” in the Adjusting Property curriculum. This session, which offers state-approved CE credits in Florida, North Carolina, and Texas, will be led by our very own Bill Dery, PE, SE, SVP, Chief Technical Engineer and Joshua Davis, JD, Partner at Baker Sterchi Cowden & Rice in St. Louis, MO.

During this session, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the terms associated with code upgrade requirements and the vocabulary used in upgrade analysis. Additionally, the session will explore scenarios impacting code updates and the investigation of prior damages that impact the adjustment of property damage claims.

If you’re attending the PLRB Claims Conference, be sure to stop by our presentation on Tuesday, March 21 from 1:30-3:00 or Wednesday, March 22 from 3:30-5:00.
