VERTEX Presenting on IBC Special Inspections and Testing at AIA in Kansas City

September 8, 2000

Christopher Leaton will be addressing the American Institute of Architects (AIA) in Kansas City on October 11th. He will deliver a presentation on International Building Code (IBC) special inspections and testing.

The presentation will be offered in a hybrid format, allowing attendees to choose between in-person and Zoom participation. Hosted by The Vertex Companies LLC, the course targets architects and registered design professionals. It aims to familiarize them with the intricacies of special inspections and testing requirements as outlined in the International Building Code’s Chapter 17.

Topics to be covered include roles and responsibilities, the statement of special inspections, materials testing, structural observations, and special inspection programs.

The event is worth 1 Learning Unit (LU) from AIA. Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees. For Zoom participants, attending the full session is essential to receive AIA credit.
