VERTEX to Attend Western Loss Association’s Spring Seminar

March 21, 2000

VERTEX is excited to announce its attendance at the upcoming Western Loss Association Spring Seminar. Scheduled for April 11, 2024, the event promises a day filled with enriching education, networking opportunities, and enjoyable activities. Attendees can expect to earn up to 4 hours of Continuing Education (CE) credits.

The seminar will take place at Pinstripes, located at 7 Oakbrook Center, Oak Brook, IL 60523. The event kicks off at 9:00 AM and concludes at 5:00 PM. Here’s a glimpse of what attendees can anticipate throughout the day:

  • 9:00-9:45 AM: Registration and Continental Breakfast Buffet
  • 9:45-10:45 AM: “You’ve Been Dealt a Bad Hand – Now What?” by Jonathan Schwartz from Freeman Mathis & Gary (1 Hr CE pending in TX, FL, IN, and WY)
  • 10:45-11:00 AM: Short Break
  • 11:00-12:00 PM: “Business Income & Spoilage – Freeze Claims Case Studies” by John Nitti from Meaden & Moore (1 Hr CE in TX, FL, and IN)
  • 12:00-1:00 PM: Lunch Break
  • 1:00-2:15 PM: “Behind the Curtain: A Closer Look at a Fire Origin and Cause Investigation” by Todd Song from NEFCO (2 Hrs CE in TX and FL)
  • 2:15-2:25 PM: Short Break
  • 2:25-3:25 PM: Continuation of “Behind the Curtain” with Todd Song from NEFCO
  • 3:25-5:00 PM: Networking Session with Fun Activities, Refreshments, and Food
