Volunteers helped to ensure that the Weymouth Blood Drive was an overwhelming success.
Clearly, the task of coordinating and implementing a blood drive could not be done by one, let alone two people. Our volunteers were quick to help with whatever tasks were required to ensure the smooth running of the drive. We did something that was “bigger than ourselves,” and we thank both our volunteers and donors very much.
Companywide, we have collected a total of 55 donations, 33 in person and 22 as part of the virtual drive. Several of our colleagues have even donated twice! Given the nationwide shortage of blood, this aligns with the global Health and Safety Day’s theme of emergency preparedness. Their generosity and support have made a positive impact on our community. Thank you for helping to save lives!
