The Project

The ADAMS team, (A VERTEX Company), performed owner’s representation and transition/activation services for this 71,000 SF, three-story replacement cancer center.

The facility is the first and only health care center in Kansas City to perform MRI-guided radiation therapy with the latest cancer-fighting technology, the Elekta Unity MR-Linac system. This advanced therapy allows us to see tumors as they are treated, resulting in pinpoint precision, fewer treatments and reduced side effects.

• 27-room clinic
• 18-bay infusion space
• Radiation unit
• Breast center with two mammography systems
• Laboratory
• New CT; two new Linac; one new HDR (High Dose Rate) brachytherapy system
• Relocation of existing PET scan
