VERTEX is part of a design team that provides design, construction documents, and construction-phase services for a new $20 million dollar, 3-story building over an underground parking garage that contains 61 units, known as Village Cooperative. The Village Cooperative is an age-restricted community of joint ownership and operation of a housing development by those who live in it. The housing consists of one, two, and two-bedroom plus den homes along with community amenities such as a club/bar area, library area, guest suite for visitors, car wash, and garden plots.
VERTEX is the civil engineer for the project and provided site, grading, drainage, and utility services while coordinating with the many municipal entities to satisfy their tie-ins and design requirements. VERTEX also acted as lead consultant for coordination and submittal processes relating to planning and engineering and assisted with permitting along with attending applicable public hearings.
During construction, VERTEX is providing Construction Administration services that include: Shop Drawing review, RFI review and response, and periodic on-site construction observation.
