Andrew (Andy) MiltonbergerPE

Andrew (Andy) Miltonberger is a Manager in the Kansas City office of VERTEX. He has helped companies and their legal counsel avoid and/or resolve business disputes. His experience includes the investigation of complex economic damages and schedule delay issues primarily related to the construction, energy, and utility industries. Andy is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Illinois.

Andy has performed cost and schedule analyses, including evaluating issues related to contract disputes, delay claims, change orders, and project management. He has performed Critical Path Method (“CPM”) schedule analysis work, performed extensive review and analysis of large volumes of project documents, analyzed cost and schedule overruns, and assessed project management execution. Andy has authored and supported the development of expert reports, provided deposition testimony, assisted with the preparation of demonstratives for arbitration and trial, and supported experts in preparation for deposition, arbitration, and trial testimony.

Andy has developed cost estimates for a variety of construction projects. He also has experience assisting general contractors with project schedule development and review for ongoing construction projects.
Prior to his litigation consulting work, Andy worked as a Field Technical Advisor for a major refining and petrochemical technology company. He provided on-site advisory services at refineries and petrochemical sites in China, Taiwan, Germany, Spain, and the United States.

Prior to VERTEX, Mr. Miltonberger has worked for the following firms: Breakwater Forensics, LLC (2019-Present – Breakwater was acquired by VERTEX in 2023); The Kenrich Group, LLC (2017-2019); and Honeywell UOP (2014-2017).
