C. Doug Day PE

C. Doug Day has over 14 years of experience in engineering and claims management with a strong background in Civil Engineering and Land Development. Mr. Day currently serves as a Division Manager based out of VERTEX’s Atlanta office and provides structural damage assessments, cause and origin investigations, repair and design recommendations, and estimates for residential and commercial applications. He has experience in assessing damage, design, and repair pertaining to structural members, roof systems, foundations, and civil forensic services.

Mr. Day has experience in project management in the development of commercial properties, residential subdivisions, and roadway and utility designs. His responsibilities included design, construction administration and coordination, contract document preparation, and submittal/closeout preparation and submission. He also has provided comprehensive civil land development services on a multitude of projects including grading, drainage, roadway design, utilities design, in addition to erosion control, due diligence, jurisdictional coordination, entitlements, construction observation and project management.
