Elina Shchervinsky, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP is a Registered Architect in NJ, PA, NY and VA with over 30 years of professional experience. Her diverse career includes the design and construction of residential buildings, schools, medical buildings, industrial, parking garages, airports, municipal buildings, warehouses, retail, offices, laboratories, restaurants, mixed-use buildings. Work scopes include new construction, additions, renovations, alterations, and remediation. Her architectural career spans every job description from designer and specification writer to project manager. She has the hands-on experience to provide technical investigations, analysis, and expert reports toward the resolution of commercial and residential, code compliance, construction claims, project delivery methods and professional liability.
Her many areas of expertise in technical investigations, forensic analyses and reports include construction defects and material failures, building codes and specifications, architectural standard of care, errors and omissions, building and design planning, accessibility and barrier-free standards and premises safety.
She assists attorneys and insurance companies with the resolution of their construction litigation claims. She is responsible for litigation support through physical investigations, analysis, report writing and expert witness testimony. Physical investigation experience includes visual, invasive, water testing, ladder use, scaffolding, lifts, hoists, and other inspection techniques as required.
Ms. Shchervinsky is the 2022 President-Elect of the Central New Jersey Section of the American Institute of Architects.
