Jason M.K. Cochran, M.S., P.E. has 17 years of experience in civil, structural, and forensic engineering. This experience includes 10 years of analysis, design, and investigation of structures and associated components of highway retaining walls, bridge abutment walls, precast concrete roadway barriers, and noise-abatement barriers. Mr. Cochran’s background includes responsibility for the technical and operational functions of various civil, structural, and other specialty projects. He has extensive experience with governmental construction road projects with commercial and residential exposure. Additionally, Mr. Cochran has 8 years of experience with forensic field investigation work regarding code compliance issues, assessment of building and structure damages, losses due to storm events, losses due to catastrophic weather events, construction or design defects, vehicle impacts, vibration damage analysis, and foundation settlement. Furthermore, Mr. Cochran has provided expert witness services in a number of matters based on his experience. Additionally, Mr. Cochran has experience performing building code compliance reviews, repair recommendations, repair plan preparation, and construction cost estimating.
Mr. Cochran is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and Ohio University with a M.S. in Civil Engineering – Structural Engineering focus.
