John Imperatore has a mechanical engineering degree from Drexel University and a master’s degree in engineering from Rowan University. Throughout his forty-plus year career, he has worked as a machinery/engine mechanic, a leak repair technician, a refrigeration mechanic, a boiler operating engineer, a facilities director, and a forensic mechanical engineer in a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial settings. As facility director of a large university in the Philadelphia area, Mr. Imperatore oversaw facilities operations, maintenance, and resource management, while specializing in energy management, combined heat and power plant management, recycling/solid waste management, and carbon footprinting of a cogeneration plant. Mr. Imperatore provides consulting services in the areas of mechanical engineering, including analysis of mechanical systems and components, HVAC, plumbing, fire/explosion, and energy management in the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. In addition to maintaining his Class A Boiler Operator’s License in the City of Philadelphia and professional engineer licenses in thirteen states, Mr. Imperatore is a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator.
