John Kyrklund

Director of Quality Assurance, QA/QC

Mr. Kyrklund has been active in the construction industry since 1978, with an emphasis on carpentry and general contracting. Mr. Kyrklund has developed strong expertise through work in both commercial and residential construction, ranging from rough framing, to finish cabinetry, and millwork. As a claims inspector and reconstruction manager in the 1990s, he inspected over 7,000 dwellings that had experienced defects with polybutylene plumbing systems, managing the resultant copper retrofits along with the preparation of detailed water damage reports and property damage estimates.

This combination of experience as a competent contractor, and later as an inspector of construction defects, has led John to the current positions as director of Quality Assurance services and as an expert at inspection documentation, analysis, and preparation of cost estimates pursuant to insurance and litigated casework; licensed General Contractor and certified as a Combination Dwelling Inspector and Building Inspector by the International Conference of Building Officials (ICBO) under the model codes of ICC, UBC, IRC, UMC, UPC, and NEC.
