Lauren Williams
Environmental Scientist, Remediation
Ms. Williams is an Environmental Scientist for VERTEX. She graduated from The University of Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology and from The Florida State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences focused in Geography and Public Policy. She is currently working on a Graduate Degree from the University of Florida in Soil and Water Sciences. For the last 6 years, Ms. Williams’ strongest focuses have been in geospatial analytics, soil erosion, sediment and soil analysis, and water quality monitoring including well sampling, quantifying nutrient loads, and short-term and long-term monitoring of estuary eutrophication. She is fluent in almost all Adobe and Autodesk related software’s including 2D and 3D related modeling, as well as most GIS and map rendering programs. Ms. Williams also has experience with project oversight, emergency response, and the drafting of documentation for construction and debris permitting.
