Project Manager, Remediation
Ms. Juffras, as a Project Manager, is responsible for managing remediation projects conducted under the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP) and providing strategic planning services to support large master-planned redevelopment projects under the MCP. Project-specific tasks include coordinating and managing field activities, data management, and regulatory reporting to the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) and other regulatory agencies.
Ms. Juffras has successfully completed a number of projects where she has conducted environmental sampling and monitoring tasks including supervision of soil borings, soil characterizations, soil sampling, radon testing, groundwater sampling, indoor air sampling, sub-slab soil vapor sampling, and dust monitoring. Ms. Juffras also evaluates site data, prepares site investigation reports, prepares permitting documents for construction dewatering, including USEPA Remediation General Permits (RGP) Notices of Intent, Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs), manages dewatering monitoring programs and the associated periodic reporting, prepares Phase I Environmental Site Assessment, Phase II Subsurface Investigations, Release Abatement Measure (RAM) Status Report, RAM Completion Report, Permanent Solution Reports, and additional regulatory reports. Additionally, she is proficient in the use of EQuIS, Excel, TurboCad, and has excellent technical writing skills.
