Michael Faraci

Mr. Faraci has over 25 years of technology and consulting experience, the majority of which has been related to complex disputes and litigation. His main area of expertise is litigation discovery with a focus on strategy surrounding collection, review, and production of complex data systems. His experience in the information technology industry includes custom workflows, systems engineering, data analytics, application development, relational database development and machine learning.

Mr. Faraci’s experience includes work on many of the highest profile regulatory investigations around the world. His clients have included numerous Fortune 500 companies spanning the financial services, telecommunications, media, defense and manufacturing industries. On these engagements he has led teams in securing data in a forensically sound and defensible manner and has worked with his clients to develop efficient solutions to review the potentially responsive data sets. Many of these engagements are “bet the company” matters and regularly involve the review and production of millions of documents originating from numerous disparate systems.
Mr. Faraci is often engaged as a technical expert to assess a company’s IT systems and retention policies as they relate to current or pending litigation. He has been named as clients’ 30(b)(6) expert on several engagements. A respected expert witness, he has been in front of the DOJ, SEC, FTC and FBI to explain and defend the processes used to obtain and review data for production.
Mr. Faraci has experience in large scale data analytics projects. His proven successes in deploying and modifying complex financial systems e.g. Oracle Financials & SAP, have given him both the experience and insight to help clients determine how to best understand and extract relevant financial data sets for analysis. Mr. Faraci has led numerous large disputes, which have necessitated millions of rows of complex corporate data to be extracted and loaded into various database platforms for custom analysis leveraging the most innovative solutions
