Ramon Ferrer is a Senior Project Manager in the VERTEX Real Estate and Construction Group with 18 years of experience. He earned Bachelor’s Degrees in Environmental and Civil Engineering from The Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and has completed all the required courses for his Masters of Engineering in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Construction Engineering (pending final paper to obtain degree). Mr. Ferrer is experienced in Environmental Engineering, Cost Estimates, Civil Design, Site Planning and Development, Construction Inspections, Construction Monitoring, Construction Management, and Owner’s Project Management. He is an extremely methodical individual who excels in large challenging projects requiring leadership and organization.
Mr. Ferrer has provided Owner’s Construction Monitoring and Project Management services on numerous private client projects acting as the Owner’s Representative. Services included oversight of the work performed by the project designer and contractors.
Recent projects include multifamily, retail, mixed-use, high-rise residential, commercial warehouses, and comprehensive existing building rehabilitations. In many of these projects, Mr. Ferrer assisted the clients in all phases of the design and construction process including entitlements, permitting, estimating, site planning, risk assessment, design development, construction document preparation and review, value engineering, construction monitoring, and construction administration.
