Gurtej SinghLEED AP, PMP
Managing Director, Project Advisory
Gurtej Singh is a Managing Director in VERTEX’s Project Advisory Services group, where he leads complex capital projects and programs from strategy through closeout with a focus on risk reduction, schedule certainty, and value realization. A trained architect (B.Arch) with an M.S. in Construction Management, and credentials including PMP and LEED AP, he bridges owner’s-representation, construction management, and forensic/litigation-adjacent advisory to help clients make confident, defensible decisions across the project lifecycle.
At VERTEX, Gurtej partners with private developers, public agencies, lenders, insurers, and HOAs across hospitality, multifamily, commercial, and institutional markets. He integrates Project Controls (cost, schedule, and change governance), constructability, contract strategy, and QA/QC into clear delivery roadmaps that align business objectives with on-the-ground execution. His teams deploy the full breadth of VERTEX’s Project Advisory platform—including construction management, construction monitoring, project controls, and distressed-project turnaround—so clients gain both proactive risk management and hands-on recovery capability when needed.
Recognized for his steady leadership in high-stakes situations, Gurtej is often called upon to bring order to complex or distressed projects. He excels at resetting delivery baselines, untangling scope and commercial conflicts, and realigning stakeholder priorities to get programs back on track. Known for bridging executive vision with on-the-ground action, he delivers decisive leadership that safeguards schedule, cost, and operational outcomes without compromising safety or quality.
Before joining VERTEX, Gurtej delivered large commercial and institutional projects end-to-end, building a track record in contractor prequalification and selection, contract administration, pay-app/cost review, and closeout. Today, clients value his ability to anticipate failure modes early, design pragmatic mitigations, and keep delivery teams focused on the outcomes that matter: predictability, performance, and lifecycle cost efficiency.
