VERTEX recently served as an expert for a construction defect claim that was filed by the property owner claiming faulty plumbing/drainage.
An investigation of the plumbing revealed major blockage by construction debris, plaster, and dried paint. Plumbing blockage is a common defect identified in a variety of real estate including multi-tenant residential complexes and commercial developments, as well as office space.
The images below were photographed on-site at a new construction development and show PVC pipe partially filled with concrete and construction debris.
