Clifford A. Cooper, MS, CIH, VERTEX Senior Industrial Hygienist, will present a full day Professional Development Course at the upcoming AIHA and ACGIH international conference later this month in San Antonio. The American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) and the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) will host their 75th international conference, AIHCe2014, to be held May 31-June 6, 2014. More than 2,500 environmental professionals from 30 countries will be attending this year’s conference in San Antonio.
The full-day program “PDC112 – Tracing Air in Buildings” is based on nearly a decade of employing both chemical tracer sampling methodology and air movement quantitative methods. Mr. Cooper will demonstrate a hybrid approach that utilizes both real-time “green” chemical tracer technology and discrete sampling to address multiple study objectives for investigation of ventilation and indoor air quality in buildings. His presentation will include several case studies where these methods were used.
