The Vertex Companies, Inc. (VERTEX) is pleased to announce that Lawrence D. Daniels, P.G., has joined our organization as a Senior Technical Advisor for our Environmental Insurance Division. Mr. Daniels most recently served as Assistant Vice President for the Global Risk Advisors/ESIS division of Chubb. In addition to more than 10 years of environmental consulting experience with Dames & Moore (currently AECOM), Mr. Daniels also founded, managed, and developed an internal environmental consulting division within American International Group, Inc. (AIG), beginning in 1998. During his 30+ year career, Mr. Daniels has provided technical analysis and engineering support on complex environmental insurance coverage issues and claims management. Mr. Daniels cultivated a reputation as an expert in the field of Environmental Insurance and as a skilled negotiator, leading to cost-effective site closure strategies at hundreds of sites throughout the U.S. and internationally, resulting in millions in documented loss mitigation and avoided costs.
As Senior Technical Advisor with VERTEX’s Environmental Insurance Vertical, Mr. Daniels will continue to rely on his many years of experience, sharp technical knowledge, and common-sense claim management approach to assist our insurance clients with their complex needs in pursuit of successful and cost-effective resolutions.
