In an interview with the Environmental Business International Journal (EBJ) for their most recent edition Q2 2022: Environmental Industry Outlook, VERTEX’s Jaron Frieden answered a number of questions that show case how VERTEX has maintained efficient and practical growth strategies and how they continue to plan for the future of the company, in a changing AEC marketplace due to environmental concerns.
The article was conducted in a back and forth interview where representatives from EBJ outlined and addressed some of the difficulties of an acquisition on ESOPs in response to Wind Point Partners acquisition of VERTEX. Jaron, who has worked at VERTEX since 1996 and is the Managing Director of the Environmental vertical, explains how VERTEX has been able to adapt and overcome these transitions along with how to maintain strategic options for internal and external growth and insight on commercial real estate market trajectories in a post COVID world.
The interview also explores areas of potential new target sectors in the AEC industry, such as e-commerce hubs, data centers, expansion into ESG work, and how climate change is affecting work throughout the AEC industry today as well as how it may alter working conditions in the future.
